About me...
In 2003, I started in IT as a Network Field Technician and have worked my way up learning anything and everything I could, eventually becoming a Sr. Network Engineer providing level 3 support at Chrysler Corporation. Over the years, I've done everything from pulling cable and installing wireless antennas; to supporting, troubleshooting, and upgrading enterprise networks; to designing entirely new wired & wireless network solutions.
For my first 6 years in the field, I worked for a company called Network Dynamics and had the opportunity to do a variety of work for large clients like Bank One / Chase Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Textron Fastening Systems, and Chrysler. In addition to those larger contract, my employer also had many smaller contracts and projects I had the privilege of being assigned. This allowed me to work on, and support, networks of all shapes and sizes; big and small, from both ends of the spectrum. In 2009, I had the opportunity to relocate to Montana, and so I left my position of Sr. Network Engineer for a role as Network Administrator / Network Engineer for SCL Health System. 4 and ½ years later, I was offered the position of Sr. Network Engineer with Cerium Networks and that is where I am today. Although I grew up as a city kid just outside of Detroit, Michigan, Montana is truly where "home" is for me. I love the outdoors, and the mountains and all the space that this state has to offer. Mon - Fri you will find me behind a computer, working in a telecom closet, or working in a data center, but on the holidays and weekends I can be found out in the country; building my ranch or out hiking, watching nature and enjoying the great outdoors.
